This is my first exposure to this character. Quite intriguing I must say. I'm actually looking forward to his next appearance...

Extra star for a character like this appearing in 1940.

Okay, I'm really impressed with this story. An actor dressing up as an elderly woman who's on a mission to find his missing daughter. A great personal story and the reveal was a twist I'm sure nobody saw coming when it was first published. Fawcett may have Captain Marvel, but Quality is building a fairly impressive stable of characters themselves that can rival what DC's been building.

4 stars for an unusual character with a great premise. But can somebody tell Stanton that cross-dressing is just a real drag?

"... not that there's anything wrong with that!" ;)

Second Thoughts: Let this be a lesson to all of you little would-be crime fighters out there. Never, ever, E-V-E-R carry your own press clippings in a huge, bulky wad, in the pocket (or whatever) of your hero togs. ;)

Not surprised to see all these comments. This was a shockingly good story. The fact that a granny was acting all spy-like for the first three pages was enough to keep you wondering what was going to happen next. I am really looking forward to more from this story line & character.
