This felt much more like a modern comic than most things in this era. The art and writing went really well together, complimenting each other without feeling separate or duplicating the information.

This was indeed a little better than recent Slam entries in the series. And I had to laugh at loud when Shorty was caught by that young woman. Oh man, the little guy just gets no respect whatsoever! 3 stars for a change of pace story that actually worked this time.

This was a very fast paced Slam story. Great artwork here. The panel of the bloody hand was well done indeed.
