  As soon as I read "The King" has been "HOUNDING" Barton on the first page, I thought I'd make an Elvis Presley joke, then I realized Elvis was only about 5 years old when this hit the market!

I wonder if The King ever read any comics.

  I have to admit, I'm not real impressed with the King. But I guess the whole disguise thing was big at the time, as he passes as a costumed crimefighter of sorts. The story just seemed kind of bland, but the King is in the same mag with heavyweights like the Flash, Hawkman, and Johnny Thunder, so his stories probably will be in comparison. 2 stars
